Second Floor almost enclosed and kitchen framed

It's pouring rain today, so it 's tough to get good pictures. The guys started putting the roof and walls up on the second floor. They also framed in the kitchen area. You can really see how the family room and kitchen will flow.

Designing Laundry Room

I need to design the laundry room, and I am hoping to modify our configuration to look more like this:

Family Room Walled in

Not much progress yesterday, but the wall for the family room/closet are framed in and we can really see our livable space.

Second Floor Walls and Framing Day 1

Day 4 - Basement is almost all closed in . .

The basement is a lot darker today, as the floor to the second level goes in. Very exciting to see. You can also see where the fireplace will be as well.

Framing Day 3 - Basement Bedroom and Bath

So they framed in the basement bedroom and bathroom (which I think looks a little small) - but it porbably a perfect size for guests or a gym!

Here are a couple more shots of the interior.  The kitchen, upstair bath and the upstairs old closet are all gone.

It's an absolutely beautiful day today. I wish the guys had all days like this to work. More walls and beams added to the addition.
